What ProsperAMnet is about?
ProsperAMnet stands for 'Progressing Service Performance and Export Results of Advanced Manufacturers Networks'
Many smart specialisation strategies of central European regions recognise the need of strengthening advanced manufacturers. Especially small- and medium-sized companies face substantial competitive pressure. One way out is to offer additional services, which, however, requires big structural changes, especially for service exporters.
The ProsperAMnet project will offer know-how and create a transnational network to collect experiences from the local level. The project jointly develops innovative tools and approaches to support advanced manufacturers and will build their capacities. Additionally, partners will develop strategic action plans and recommendations for the future.
An online platform is developed to facilitate access for AMs and stakeholders and to link stakeholders in the field of service performance and service export. The platform supports AMs and experts with advice, exchange opinions, linkages to good practices and bringing stakeholders together.
Strategic action plans for each involved central Europe country are to be developed in order to support policy makers in improving regional AMs’ internal service capabilities and regional competitive-ness and to point out necessary activities to foster service export of regional AMs, usage of AI by SME and hence increase regional competitiveness.
This tool collects and extracts data about export markets and characteristics of individual AMs with the help of Artificial Intelligence. The radar gives recommendations regarding service export chances for AMs. The radar is provided as an online tool and is integrated into the service platform.
In order to support companies to become successful in their service business, a tool called ‘Service Performance Monitor’ is developed. Internal leverages for improving the introduction, management and selling of existing and new product- or solution-related services.
ProsperAMnet has 10 partners from 7 countries.
On July 8th 2020, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia organised an online round table, mainly for the manufacturing companies, entitled “Time to innovate: Service design”. The aim of the webinar was to present to attendees what service design is and to encourage them to start thinking about this process and to invite them to take part of the project. 24 attendees participated the webinar, among them mostly representatives of manufacturing and service companies and regional or local institutions.
