Watch a short film about our history of cooperation and what we have achieved so far.
We celebrated this anniversary with a major conference in Berlin on 21 and 22 September 2017. There we took a closer look at what transnational cooperation has done for central Europe and discussed the role of our programme and projects beyond 2020. We also opened a new call for proposals.

Policy makers agreed at the conference that Interreg should become more flexible and easier to implement again. Transnational programmes were seen as an important tool for fostering European integration and territorial cohesion.
Launch of Third Call
The third call for project proposals was launched on 21 September and stays open until 25 January 2018. Around 60 million EUR are available for new transnational cooperation ideas. In some thematic areas the call focuses on pre-defined topics.
